International Women’s Day 2015 – #IWD15

Tomorrow, March 8th, is International Women’s Day. It’s an opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements and to call for greater equality for women, no matter where they are in the world. The theme for IWD 2015 is ‘Make it Happen’. I am making it happen by sharing some of my favourite photos of women I have seen and met on my travels. I hope you find these photos interesting and they give you pause for thought about how far we have come but also how much more there is to do to ensure real equality for women.

Happy International Women’s day. We have a public holiday in August to celebrate women so I always forget about this day 🙂

That’s great news Tandy and very forward thinking. I look forward to the day the ‘Minister for Women’ does likewise in Australia.
