What I Had For Lunch Today – Czech It Out

I went on a 3 hour walking tour of Prague today so I was after something a little more substantial than a sandwich for lunch.  We found a pub close to our hotel in the Old Town (not difficult in Prague) with a cheery motif of axemen and torture, the Pivnice U Kata.  We grabbed a couple of small Pilsner Urquell beers and selected the Pecene Uzene Koceno which roughly translates as Smoked Pork Knuckle.

Luckily we had the forethought to order one dish between the two us which was just as well because this is what arrived:

As you can see from the beer mug behind, it was the huge chunk of meat. Too much for the two of us though!

    I think that meal might contravene to definition of tiffing…
